There is a big difference between liking Jesus (Facebook style) and being Jesus-like. When Jesus recruited His original disciples, He asked them to “follow Him”… Jesus was suggesting that they become Jesus-like. When we choose to be a Christian we are making a very similar choice – we are choosing to become more and more Jesus-like. We are to become more like Jesus in our actions, our thought patterns, our likes and dislikes. Its also important to understand that becoming more and more Jesus-like is the pathway to all of God’s blessings… His peace, hope, provision and forgiveness.  In the next few weeks in our 10am Worship Services at Cherry Creek Wesleyan Church we will be examining the path and the implications of becoming Jesus-like. You will want to be a part of this!
