Centennial Christian Learning Center is the place to be for summer learning and fun!
Does your child get bored during the summer? Or, do you wish you could help them keep from losing all the information they learned this last school year?
CCLC has many flexible options for your child and your busy summer schedule.
This summer, all three classrooms (Ms. Brenda, Ms. Cammy, and Summer Day Camp) have exciting and fun activities planned that will help your child continue their learning and socialization! (please click on the summer brochure for more information)
Ms. Brenda’s Preschool Summer Classroom
Let Ms. Brenda and staff help your little one grow and learn this summer. Students will have fun learning through a variety of age appropriate activity and circle times. Themed activities times might include: exploring outer-space, the zoo, serving pizza at the pizza parlor, discovering fossils/dinosaurs, alphabet themed art projects, morning snack based off the alphabet, and much more!
Ms Cammy’s Pre-K Summer Classroom
Ms. Cammy and staff will keep your child entertained while also helping them grow and learn during the summer months. Come have fun with National Dairy Month in June. Students will learn through art, cooking and play activities all about cows and the food they produce. July is all about the outdoors! Activities will include camping in the classroom, cooking s’mores, having picnics, learning about worms, bugs, spiders, pond life, and much more! August will take us back in time to the Dinosaurs! Students will learn about fossils, dinosaur eggs, creation of the earth, the story of Noah, and just how big those dinosaurs were!
2012 Summer Day Camp (completed K – 5th)
Each summer CCLC welcomes students who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade to attend our Summer Day Camp. We are excited to announce that Natalie will again lead the summer day camp program. We would also like to welcome Aaron Gunter to CCLC. Both Natalie and Aaron will be co-teaching the summer day camp program for 2011.
The CCLC summer day camp’s focus is to help each student grow spiritually and academically while having fun in the process! Students will participate in a variety of academic activities that help them stay current on reading and math skills during the non school months. Students will also have fun learning in an environment that has a strong spiritual emphasis. Activities may include daily bible lessons, prayer journalling, indoor and outdoor games, reading and math projects, sports, and age appropriate discussions.
Field trips are also an exciting part of the CCLC summer day camp. Students will have the opportunity each week to go to various places with in walking distance of the day care center. These might include the swimming pool, library, and park. Each month there will be one large field trip where we ask for parent volunteers. These might include the Arapahoe County Fair, Bowling, roller skating, etc…
The summer day camp runs June 11th – August 17th. If you have any questions please feel free to contact either Hilarie or Joy at CCLC. 303-693-5706
